I'm Fikri Anugrah Pratama, a product technical writer with an IoT engineering background. I document cross-border and warehouse systems, and design and build apps like FXON.
A mix of engineering, technical writing, and things I built on my own.
Toilet Monitoring System
An IoT system that tracks ammonia levels across ten floors of a building over an ESP-MESH network, published in the Journal of Engineering Science and Technology.
I started out as an IoT engineer during college, working on a project that was later published in an academic journal. That engineering background is still how I think, breaking a system down until it actually makes sense.
"The best documentation reads like it was written by someone who actually built the thing."
These days I work as a product technical writer, most recently on Lincah's Cross-Border and WMS products, coming in after the PRD was set to turn requirements into docs that hold up through design, development, and QA. On the side, I designed and built FXON, a mobile app, from scratch.
The career version, chronological, because some things really are a sequence.
